The economy of Zamboanga Del Norte decelerates to 4.9 percent in 2023 from a 7.1 percent growth in the previous year. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Zamboanga Del Norte in 2023 was estimated at PhP 120.23 billion from PhP 114.58 billion in 2022. (Figure 1)

Among the 16 industries, the fastest growths were observed in Other Services with 32.8 percent, followed by Accommodation and food service activities with 17.9 percent, and Construction with 13.9 percent. On the other hand, Manufacturing experienced a negative growth rate with 8.9 percent. (Figure 2)

In 2023, the per capita GDP of Zamboanga Del Norte was estimated at PhP 112,896 which marked a 4.4 percent increase compared to the recorded per capita GDP of the previous year.
