The Labor Force Survey (LFS) is a monthly/quarterly household survey that tracks the Philippine labor market, generating key employment indicators. This round aims to assess the pandemic's ongoing impact on labor and employment. The Volunteer Work Questions module, added to the LFS, seeks to provide reliable data on volunteerism's economic potential, informing policy makers and program managers in crafting civic engagement opportunities and guidelines.
The PSA IX will conduct a Labor Force Survey (LFS) in the City. Trained Statistical Researchers will perform house-to-house interviews among sampled households from 08-28 May 2025. PSA IX earnestly requests public cooperation to ensure the survey's success and accuracy.
The 4-day training ended with the closing message by PhilSys Regional Coordinator Conrad E. Sontillano.
