28 February 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX remains committed to providing National ID Services to the public. These services include National ID Registration, Issuance of National ID in paper form, Retrieval of Transaction Number, Claiming of Return to Sender Cards, and Updating of Demographic information.
In February 2025, the National ID registration efforts continued to expand their reach, successfully enrolling a total of 2,758 children aged 5 and above, along with 503 children under the age of 5. This initiative underscores the commitment to providing inclusive and accessible identification for all age groups, ensuring that even the youngest members of society have a secure and recognized form of identification.
As part of the effort to offer immediate proof of identity, a total of 1,810 National IDs in paper form were issued throughout the month. This allowed individuals to access valid identification for essential transactions while awaiting the production of their PVC cards.
Additionally, 493 clients sought assistance in retrieving their Transaction Number, enabling them to track their National ID records and ensure continuity in the registration process. For those requiring updates or modifications to their demographic information, 168 clients completed the process, ensuring that their records remained accurate and up to date.
Moreover, the PSA office facilitated the claiming of 99 National ID cards that were previously tagged as Return to Sender. This process allowed registrants to finally receive their National ID cards, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to ensuring that all registered individuals gain access to their identification documents without unnecessary delays
