The Philippine Statistics Authority – Zamboanga Sibugay proudly participated the One-Stop Shop services initiated by the Department of Labor and Employment – Zamboanga Sibugay Field Office (DOLE-ZSFO) in celebration of the 126th Araw ng Kalayaan held at Gaisano Grand Mall, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, on 12 June 2024, bringing valuable services and information to the local community.
In a significant initiative effort to promote the national ID system, the PhilSys team from Zamboanga Sibugay set up a registration booth, offering assistance to job seekers and other attendees in registering for their national ID. Throughout the day, the PhilSys booth accommodated individuals inquiring about the national ID and its benefits. Concerns about the delayed delivery of PhilID cards and incorrect demographic entries of the registered individuals were also addressed. The PhilSys team also offers explanations for the possible causes of the delayed delivery of their IDs and encourage individuals to use their ePhilIDs while waiting for their physical cards, as both IDs have the same functionality.
Moreover, among the service offered by the PSA – Sibugay were its mobile civil registry such as processing of copies of civil registry documents like Birth, Marriage, Death, Certificate of Marriage (CEMAR), and Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR).
The One-Stop-Shop services were one of the highlights of the 126th Araw ng Kalayaan celebration for the promotion and provision of a “Whole-of-Nation” approach through the convergence of programs and services offered by line agencies. This segment also aims to provide the local community with an avenue for ease-of-doing business with national agencies.
The PSA – Sibugay extends its gratitude to DOLE – ZSFO for their invaluable support and partnership. Through such collaborative efforts, we move closer to achieving a more inclusive and efficient public service system.
