In celebration of the 24th Araw ng Zamboanga Sibugay, the PSA – Zamboanga Sibugay participated in the Information and Service Caravan on Child Labor Prevention and Elimination organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at the Atrium of the Provincial Capitol, Ipil Heights, Zamboanga Sibugay.
As part of this event, the National ID team actively supported the caravan by offering a variety of services to the public. The team conducted a 2-day mobile registration from February 20 to 21, 2025, bringing National ID services directly to the residents of Zamboanga Sibugay. The booth was set up in the atrium to cater to a wide range of needs, ensuring accessibility for local citizens.
The services offered during the event included:
• National ID Registration for Sibugaynons who have not yet registered.
• Issuance of National IDs in paper form, allowing recipients to receive their IDs promptly.
• Retrieval of Transaction Reference Numbers (TRN) for individuals who lost their National ID transaction slips.
• National ID Replacement Requests for those who needed a replacement due to damages or peeled-off photographs.
Throughout the event, the National ID team successfully registered a total of fifty-five (55) individuals and issued twenty (20) National IDs in paper form. These efforts reflect the government's continued commitment to ensuring that all residents have access to essential services.
This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the accessibility of public services and ensure that all Sibugaynons have the necessary identification for various government transactions. This successful collaboration exemplifies the spirit of cooperation in achieving sustainable development and welfare for all Sibugaynons.
