10 May 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Office IX actively participated in the “Grand Ease of Doing Business Fair” organized by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) on May 10, 2025, at KCC Mall de Zamboanga.

This event brought together various government agencies and stakeholders committed to promoting transparency, streamlining services, and improving public access to essential government transactions. PSA IX's participation underscores its support for ARTA’s mission to enhance the ease of doing business.

During the fair, PSA offered a variety of National ID services to the public. These services included registering individuals for the National ID, issuing printed copies of the National ID on paper form, helping clients retrieve lost transaction slips, and checking the status of their National ID cards.

This activity gave the public a chance to personally speak with PSA staff and ask questions about the National ID. It also helped raise awareness about the importance of the National ID, which serves as an official proof of identity when dealing with government offices, private institutions, and other everyday transactions. The event was a great opportunity to make the National ID services more accessible and convenient for everyone.
