18 July 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office IX organized a special National ID mobile registration activity, specifically for senior citizens and clients who have difficulty walking or traveling. This service was provided to help those who are unable to visit any National ID registration center, ensuring anyone can still register and get their National ID without any issues.
As part of the PSA’s proactive efforts to make National ID registration more accessible, mobile registration services are being offered to senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs). These services are arranged based on requests coming from family members, barangay officials, or the clients themselves. This means that if a senior citizen or a person with disability is unable to visit any registration center due to health reasons or mobility challenges, they can request assistance, and the PSA IX will organize a mobile registration to personally visit them.
Through this initiative, the PSA-IX makes sure that no one is left behind and that every Filipino, especially those who have difficulty traveling or moving around, can register for their National ID. This helps them meet the requirements when claiming their government benefits and receiving the support they need for their daily living.
