8 February 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. In the celebration of the 88th Dia de Zamboanga, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX participated in the “Justo y Decente Program” at the Western Mindanao State University last February 26, 2025.
This one-day initiative aimed to bring different local government programs and services directly to the barangay, ensuring residents had straightforward access to essential public assistance. Key services provided during the event included social and financial aid programs, along with various government regulatory functions tailored to meet community needs.
The Philippine Statistics Authority played an active role in this effort by offering National ID services to attendees. These services encompassed National ID registration for new applicants, issuance of National ID in paper form for those needing proof of identity, retrieval of Transaction Numbers for those who lost their registration slips, and updates on National ID cards.
By engaging in this collaborative initiative, the PSA not only streamlined the National ID registration process but also showcased its strong commitment to making essential government services accessible to those who need them most. This initiative reflects the agency’s dedication to improving service delivery, promoting efficiency in public service, and enhancing public trust in the National ID system.
