31 July 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX continues to offer National ID services to everyone, making the process more accessible and convenient for the public. These services include registering individuals for the National ID, issuing the ID in printed paper form, updating personal or demographic information, and assisting in the retrieval of lost Transaction Reference Numbers (TRNs). The PSA also handles the release of National ID cards that were marked as “Return to Sender” and provides updates on the status of ID cards. All these efforts aim to ensure that every individual has a valid and reliable form of identification.
In July 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Zamboanga City continued its National ID registration at the Fixed Registration Center in Baliwasan. A total of 1,197 individuals were registered during the month. Of this number, 1,069 were aged 5 and above, while 128 were children aged 4 and below. This shows PSA’s continued effort to register people of all ages, including even the youngest members of the community.
The PSA provided paper-printed National IDs to clients who needed valid proof of identity. Throughout the month, a total of 1,318 National IDs in paper form were issued. These printed IDs can be used as official identification for both government and private transactions.
To keep records, correct and updated, the PSA helped 159 clients update their personal information upon request. The changes included updates to their name, address, date of birth, place of birth, blood type, marital status, and contact number. This ensures that all details on their National ID are accurate and can be trusted.
A total of 144 clients successfully claimed their National ID cards that were tagged as Return to Sender (RTS) after being undelivered and returned to the PSA office. This effort ensures that registered individuals still receive their valid proof of identity despite delivery issues.
