
20 January 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX conducted a 2025 Refresher Training on the National ID Frontline Services as a preparatory activity for reopening its Mall-based Registration Centers in 2025 last January 18, 2025. This training was spearheaded by Jacob Shaquille T. Wee, Registration Officer III, together with the PSA National ID Admin personnel.
This training focuses on refining processes and procedures in providing National ID services to the public. The services include (1) National ID Registration, (2) National ID Updating of Demographic Information (3) Issuance of National ID in Paper form, (4) Retrieval of National ID Transaction Slip, and (5) National ID Card Status Updates.
The training emphasizes the protection of registrants' information, ensuring that all data is kept secure not only during the registration process but also throughout the issuance of any form of National ID. By aligning all processes with the PSA’s established protocols, this training ensures that personnel can offer the highest level of service to the public. It equips them with the necessary tools to assist citizens effectively while maintaining strict adherence to security measures. Through these efforts, the public is assured that their personal information remains protected, and all services are delivered in line with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
