27 May 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Regional Statistical Services Office IX extends its registration to children ages from 1 to 4 years old at Barangay Manalipa on May 27 to 30, 2024.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) aims to register children bellow 5 years old to PhilSys as they can use the national ID to any transactions both public and private. This transaction includes school and passport registrations, where parents or guardians can use the printed ePhilID as valid proof of identification.

The team also aims to register the remaining residence of Barangay Manalipa who has not yet registered to PhilSys, through setting up registration center not just in the barangay hall but also in some remote areas. Issuance of ePhilID was also provided to those who have already registered but have not received their PhilID card.

To date, PSA RSSO IX continues to further intensify its goal to make PhilSys registration more accessible to the people.

For more information, visit the official PhilSys website (https://philsys.gov.ph) or like and follow the official Facebook page of PhilSys (https://www.facebook.com/PSAPhilSysOfficial).
