10 June 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX, collaborates with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), in setting up an onsite National ID Registration Center in the NBI Western Mindanao Regional Office located at Edificio Costal Building, Corcuera Street Zamboanga City.

This collaboration aims to register employees of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and clients requesting a copy of their NBI clearance. This partnership helps both agencies, as we provide valid proof of identity to walk-in clients through National ID registration and issuance of their ePhilID upon request of their NBI clearance.

This helps promote the acceptance of National ID across various institutions, as one of the keys to enhancing efficiency and convenience, in processing both government and private transactions. This improves service delivery but also fosters an efficient and safer system that benefits both citizens and businesses alike.

To date, PSA RSSO IX continues to further intensify its goal to make National ID registration more accessible to the people.
