12 January 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX conducted the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration at the Department
of Social Welfare and Development – Processing Center for Displaced Persons (PCDP).

Currently, groups of Filipinos who were deported from Malaysia are being detained in DSWD-PCDP facilities. As part of the process, the deportees are being registered in PhilSys.
This initiative encourages deportees to register in PhilSys, which allows them to enjoy the benefits of having an ePhilID while waiting for their PhilID card to be delivered.

To date, PSA RSSO IX continues to further intensify its goal to make PhilSys registration more accessible to the people.

For more information, visit the official PhilSys website (https://philsys.gov.ph) or like and follow the official Facebook page of PhilSys (https://www.facebook.com/PSAPhilSysOfficial).
