23 November 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX has extended its National ID Registration services to the residents of Busay, one of the island barangays in Zamboanga City.

This initiative aims to ensure that citizens in remote areas, especially children aged 1 to 4 years old, have access to the National ID registration process. By streamlining access to National ID services, even the youngest members of society are provided with valid proof of identification. This identification can be used for school enrollments and participation in various Social Protection Programs, enhancing opportunities and support for children in these communities.

The National ID Registration Team is actively conducting registration and issuing National IDs in paper form in various barangays across Zamboanga City, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy throughout its operations. This ensures that the residents of Zamboanga City can easily register for and receive their National ID in a timely, reliable manner, further enhancing access to essential government services.
