On October 19, 2023, Chief Statistical Specialist Ma. Lila D. Daan, together with Senior Statistical Specialist and Provincial CBMS Focal Person Edna D. Kiskis and her team, successfully led the first Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) municipal data review for PSA Zamboanga del Norte in the municipality of Mutia. At the event, Municipal Mayor Lorrymir S. Adasa, along with key LGU officials, as well as barangay chairmen, secretaries, treasurers, and other interested parties, attended and meticulously examined the preliminary tabulations and results from the previously conducted 2022 CBMS data collection.

This significant activity will serve as a foundation for the municipal LGU in determining the quality of data collected during the enumeration and, ultimately, in assessing whether the results are relevant and reflective of the current state of the municipality."
