07 September 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office IX (PSA-RSSO IX) spearheaded the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System Bandilyo / Motorcade headed by Mr. Bonifacio E. Albino, Administrative Officer IV and Ms. Sonia D. Supnet, Statistical Specialist II and the Regional Focal Person for the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS, as per special permit granted by the City Government of Zamboanga through the Office of City Administrator and Zamboanga City Police Office through Chief, City Traffic Enforcement Unit in the main streets of Zamboanga City for its route.

The Bandilyo and/or roadshow aims to inform the general public on the on-going enumeration on the Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) and that the hired personnel and some employees of the PSA IX will be visiting households and Institutional Living Quarters (ILQ) to gather data which will be the basis for our policy makers and planners for implementation of plans and programs for the betterment of the country particularly Zamboanga City.

The hired Census Area Supervisors (CAS), Team Supervisors (TS), Enumerators (ENs) and PSA IX employees participated on the said activity.

The PSA IX enjoins the active participation from all societal sectors to achieve the success of this nationwide statistical undertaking.
