The Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Zamboanga del Norte successfully conducted a mobile registration activity under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) in Brgy. Tinaplan, Municipality of Sindangan, on April 10, 2025. This initiative is part of the PSA's ongoing commitment to ensure that all Filipino's especially those in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs), have access to vital civil registration services. Through BRAP, individuals who have not yet been registered at birth are given the opportunity to be documented, thereby securing their rights and access to essential government services.
The mobile registration in Brgy. Tinaplan was met with active participation from residents, reflecting the community's support for the PSA's mission of civil registration. The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the PSO, local government units, and barangay officials, who extended their assistance to ensure the smooth flow of the registration process. The PSO continues to encourage all unregistered individuals to avail themselves of BRAP services and become part of the national civil registration system.
