The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) IX joined the 2-day Labor Day Job Fair last April 30 – May 1, 2018 at Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone (Zamboecozone) in Sitio San Ramon, Barangay Talisayan, this city. The activity was spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office IX and was participated by different government agencies and private companies as well. The activity also offered the “One-Stop Shop” to all the job seekers who will be needing documents such as PSA-issued vital documents.

On the first day, Mr. Frederick D. Talaver III and Ms. Roxanne Berhay, both Administrative Officer III together with Mr. Ric Mark Anthony B. Garcia, Information Officer I of PSA RSSO IX rendered Civil Registration Services (CRS) through the Batch Request Query System (BREQS) at the said One-Stop Shop event. The following day was highlighted by a motorcade from Pettit Barracks to Zamboecozone at 7:00 in the morning. There were several participants coming from the different agencies and companies who were led to the stage for the ceremony. The PSA RSSO IX still offered its Civil Registration Services simultaneously with the event. The clients who availed of the services were glad that they were able to request for their PSA documents and can claim it on a given date.

The BREQS is a scheme where PSA authorizes a partner to receive requests for PSA-issued copies and certifications of civil registry documents from the public and issue the documents to its clientele.  The actual processing of the requests is done by the Serbilis Outlet. With the BREQS scheme, the public can now also avail of many of the services offered in a Serbilis Outlet through the authorized agent.
