The Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office IX (PSA-RSSO IX) conducted information dissemination about Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) to Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School (DPLMHS) on February 9, 2018.

This endeavor is part of the lined up activities of the PSA RSSO IX in celebration of the 2018 Civil Registration Month (CRM). Moreover, the program was highlighted by the presentation of the Civil Registration Services being offered by the PSA in partnership with the UNISYS (service-provider) and its updates to the delight of the participants. Among those present during the event were Senior High students, advisers, subject teachers and the principals. The students actively participated during the Question and Answer portion as well as the Open Forum.  

The DLMHS is the first among the selected schools by PSA for the dissemination of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) which forms part of the CRM celebration. The CRM is being celebrated pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 682 signed on January 28, 1991 by the late President Corazon C. Aquino declaring every February of every year as Civil Registration Month. The objective is to remind the citizenry of their duty to register acts and events concerning status of persons and enhance the nationwide awareness and appreciation of the legal, administrative and statistical values of civil registry documents.
