19 June 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX, continues its collaboration with the Landbank of the Philippines, to ensure the successful implementation of the National ID by setting up Registration Center inside the institution.

This strategy aims to help both institutions in ensuring walk-in clients can present their National ID during transactions. For clients who are not yet registered, PSA will facilitate National ID registration to enable them to conduct transactions with The Lanbank of the Philippines smoothly.

This collaboration indeed plays a crucial role in promoting the acceptance of National ID in financial transactions. By working together across various sectors including banks and money remittance centers, this can accelerate the adoption of National ID for faster and more digital transactions. This collaboration enhances efficiency, security, and convenience for individuals and businesses towards a digitalized system.

To date, PSA RSSO IX continues to further intensify its goal to make National ID registration more accessible to the people.
