21 June 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX, coordinated with the City Health Office, in establishing a National ID Registration Center at Rizal Street, Zamboanga City.

This collaboration aims to register a diverse range of individuals, including employees and their families, children aged 1 to 4 years old, walk-in clients at the City Health Office, and clients from nearby establishments such as the Philippine Red Cross, Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and other government or private institutions in the vicinity. This effort is crucial in ensuring wide coverage of National ID Registration across different institutions. This collaboration not only provides faster access to National ID Registration but also strengthens the promotion of widespread acceptance of National ID both in government and private institutions.

To date, PSA RSSO IX continues to further intensify its goal to make National ID registration more accessible to the people.
