PSA Launches The PhilSys Registration Center At Barangay Manicahan

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Zamboanga City officially opened the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Registration Center at Barangay Manicahan last 19 October 2022.

Conrad E. Sontillano, OIC-Chief of the Civil Registration and Administrative Support Division was among those in attendance and in his message, he acknowledged the support of the Barangay Council and for the warm welcome given to the PSA. He further stated that the PSA continues to intensify its goal to make the PhilSys registration more accessible to the people.

This year, the PSA aims to set up more registration centers in other barangays that were not covered in Step 1.
