8 February 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX successfully conducted a National ID registration and issuance activity in Barangay Baluno as part of its commitment to making identification services more accessible to the public.

This initiative was successfully implemented through a strong partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), ensuring that residents, particularly those benefiting from social programs, had the opportunity to register and obtain their National ID. By working closely with DSWD, PSA IX continues to expand and enhance its outreach programs, making vital identification services more accessible to different communities.

This collaborative approach not only streamlines the registration process but also reinforces the agency’s commitment to bringing essential government services directly to the people who need them most
