
31 January 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. As the year 2025 begins, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX remains committed to its ongoing efforts in National ID registration and issuance. To enhance accessibility and convenience for the public, PSA has opened and continues to operate its Fixed Registration Centers, as well as Mall-Based Registration Centers, strategically located across the city. These centers provide individuals with a reliable and efficient way to register for their National ID, ensuring that more citizens can secure valid proof of identity for various government and private transactions.
For January 2025, the National ID registration efforts successfully enrolled a total of 1,327 children aged 5 and above, along with 83 children under the age of 5. As part of the initiative to provide accessible identification, a total of 1,415 National IDs in paper form were issued throughout the month, ensuring that individuals had immediate proof of identity to be used for their transactions. Additionally, a total of 731 clients, sought assistance in retrieving their Transaction Number, allowing them to track and access their National ID records. Furthermore, for those requesting updates or changes to their demographic information, 212 clients completed the process, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of their registered details.
