30 November 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) continued its dedicated efforts to expand access to the National ID services throughout the province.
Collaboration with various Local Government Units has been a key factor in the success of the delivery of the National ID Services. LGU played a pivotal role in mobilizing resources and encouraging their constituents to register for the National ID. Continuous partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in two different activities such as, Family Development Session (FDS), and Processing Center for Displaced Person (PCDP) played a major role in the success of the National ID registration for November.
On the first week of November, a total of 1,495 citizens were registered to National ID. In the second week of November, National ID registration focused on collaboration with the DSWD-PCDP where a total of 1,969 were registered. In the third week, PSA deployed multiple registration centers in different areas to cover the DSWD-FDS sessions where National ID Registration took place with a total of 1,820 recorded registrations. On the last week of November, a total of 1,784 registrants were registered to the National ID in the continued collaboration with the DSWD.
The data demonstrates a successful implementation of the National ID registration program for the month with a total of 7,068 recorded registrations.
