25 July 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Regional Statistical Services Office IX strengthened its National ID Registration and ePhilID issuance at barangay Sta. Catalina. This initiative enhances the public's accessibility to National ID registration.
Part of the initiative in strengthening National ID Registration is to set up registration centers not just in institutions but also on public roads such as sidewalks near school vicinities, waiting sheds in barangay roads, and other public areas where clients can easily access National ID registration services. This approach aims to make the registration process more accessible to public, ensuring that more citizens can register for National ID.

Although National ID registration is the primary focus of the initiative, other services such as ePhilID issuance, requesting lost transaction slips, National ID card tracking, and updates are also being offered at these registration centers. This comprehensive approach aims to address various needs related to the National ID system, providing a one-stop solution for citizens.

The National ID Registration Team is currently conducting registration and issuing ePhilID in different barangays in Zamboanga City. The team is committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy in all aspects of its operations. This ensures that the registration process is smooth, reliable, and beneficial for all citizens.
