The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX successfully conducted the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Provinvial Level Training on Issuance of the Printable Philippine Identification (PhilID) last 29-30 September 2022 at PSA RSSO IX, 4th Floor, Function Hall, Dagdag Bldg., San Jose Road, Baliwasan, Zamboanga City. The activity was held for the preparation on the availability of issuing a digital version of printable PhilID. During the training, the participants were also oriented regarding on the guidelines and procedures on the issuance of the PhilID, and as well as the important parts on the Step 2 Registration process.

Flerida E. Tan, OIC- Chief of the Statistical Operations and Coordination Division (SOCD) was among those in attendance and during her message, she encouraged the participants to give their utmost attention and diligence to the training.

The Two-day training was attended by twenty two (22) personnel that included Registration Kit Operators, Screeners, and Alternate Screeners.

To date, the PSA aims to issue a digital version of the PhiliID while the on-going production and printing of the physical PhilID by the end of 2022.
