The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX successfully conducted the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Provincial Level Training on Issuance of the Printable Philippine Identification (PhilID) for the Step 2 Registration Personnel last 15 October 2022 at PSA RSSO IX, 4th Floor, Function Hall, Dagdag Bldg., San Jose Road, Baliwasan, Zamboanga City. The activity was held for the preparation on the availability of issuing a digital version of printable PhilID. During the training, the participants were also oriented regarding on the guidelines and procedures on the issuance of the ePhilID.

Bryan L. Madayag, Administrative Officer III/Designated PhilSys Focal Person was among those in attendance and during his message, he encouraged the participants to give their utmost attention and diligence to the training.

The one-day training was attended by twenty two (26) personnel that included Registration Center Supervisors and Registration Kit Operators.

To date, the PSA aims to issue a digital version of the PhiliID while the on-going production and printing of the physical PhilID by the end of 2022.
