The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Zamboanga City officially opened the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Registration Center at Barangay Tetuan last 10 January 2023.

This strategy aims to accommodate all the residents at the barangay Tetuan, who have not yet register in PhilSys. The activity was facilitated by six (6) personnel that included Registration Center Supervisor, Registration Kit Operators, Screener, and Alternate.

The PSA aims to set up more registration centers in other barangays that were not covered in Step 1.
