30 June 2025 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX continues to work hard to bring National ID services closer to the public. These services include registering for the National ID, issuing the National ID in paper form, updating personal information, helping clients retrieve lost transaction numbers, releasing National ID cards that were marked as “return to sender,” and providing updates on the status of National ID cards.
In June 2025, PSA – Zamboanga City continued its National ID operations at various locations, including the PSA Fixed Registration Center, KCC Mall de Zamboanga, Southway Square Mall, and Yubenco Starmall Putik. The agency also maintained strong partnerships with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC), and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) to make National ID services more accessible to everyone. A total of 2,397 individuals were successfully registered, 2,246 were aged 5 and above, while 151 were children aged 4 and below.
To support people who need quick and valid proof of identity, the PSA also issued a total of 2,074 National IDs in paper form during the month. These printed IDs serve as valid proof of identification that can be used for any government or private transactions.
To keep records accurate and up to date, the PSA helped 169 clients update their personal information. These updates included changes to their name, address, date of birth, place of birth, and contact details. This helps make sure that all the information on their National ID is correct and reliable.
A total of 153 clients were able to successfully claim their National ID cards that were tagged as Return to Sender (RTS). Through this effort, PSA continues to ensure that registered individuals receive their IDs properly.
