29 March 2023 The local government of Barangay Sto. Rosario and Barangay Upper Nipaan, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, concurred to pass a joint resolution addressing the ongoing border disputes of the two neighboring barangays for the CBMS Data Collection. A ceremonial signing will take place at Brgy. Sto. Rosario to commemorate the agreement, which formalizes the understanding of both parties in determining their respective territorial boundaries.

The joint session was attended by CBMS PFP Rasul J. Maruji, DENR Land Management Officer III, Ferdinand B. Guirgio, MPDO Project Development Officer III, Engr. Neil Calumpang, CBMS hired personnel, the councils of both barangays, and the presiding officer, Municipal Councilor, Hon. Victoria S. Labadlabad. In her statement, she said that this move will serve as an inspiration for other conflicting barangays to follow and do the same.
