Simultaneous Launching of Data Enclave Centers in Regional Statistical Services Offices

14 of July 2023, The philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistics Services Office IX (PSA-RSSO IX) held the launching of the Data Enclave Center in the region simultaneously with the other 17 regional offices in a hybrid setup. The Philippine Statistics Authority is the central statistical data authority of the Philippine government on primary data collection. The agency is committed to deliver relevant and reliable data in a secured system for the academe, partners and stakeholders.

The simultaneous launching of the Data Enclave is led by the PSA MIMAROPA through a hybrid setup. The program commenced at 9:00 AM with a prayer and the signing of the national anthem. The Opening Remarks was delivered by Ms. Minerva Eloisa P. Esquivias, Assistant National Statistician - OIC, Deputy National Statistical Censuses and Technical National Statistician and Civil Registrar General.

Each of the 17 regional offices was recognized for its presence and at exactly 11:00 a.m the simultaneous ribbon cutting happened, signifying its availability to the academe, partners and stakeholders.

PSA-RSSO IX ribbon cutting ceremony for the Data Enclave Center was led by Ms. Mewchun WS. Pamaran, Regional Director and assisted by Ms. Flerida E. Tan, OIC-SOCD Chief and Mr. Conrad E. Sontillano, OIC-CRASD Chief.

Mr. Jing B. Jalisan, Information Technology Chief III, Division Chief Registers and Database Management Division from PSA- Central Office presented the overview of Instutionalizing of Data Enclave Center. 

Meanwhile, Mr. John Rocel B. Garejo, Information System Analyts I, Data Enclave Manager - RSSO MIMAROPA also presented the process on how to access the Data Enclave Center in RSSOs.

After the presentation, an open forum followed with gueststand participants raising questions on the availability of data that can be accessed in the Data Enclave. Ms. Divina Gracia L. Del Prado, Assistant National Assistant- OIC, Deputy National Statistician Sectoral Statistics Office concluded the program by her closing remarks
