25 April 2025 – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX has teamed up with the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) to open a National ID registration center right inside the hospital. This partnership was made to make it easier for more people to sign up for the National ID. Now, hospital employees, patients, and visitors can register without needing to go to a different location. Having a National ID is very important because it helps people process documents faster and meet different requirements needed for government and private transactions.

This collaboration brings many benefits for confined patients who are staying in the hospital, patients who are ready to go home, and hospital workers can all take advantage of this easy access to National ID registration. It also helps speed up identity checks and makes it simpler to get services, both inside and outside the hospital. By setting up a registration center in busy places, PSA IX is making sure that more people can get their National ID conveniently, saving them time and effort.
