In support of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Team of the Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Zamboanga del Norte, the Dapitan City Local Government Unit has accommodated the PSO's request to broadcast the National ID audiovisual presentation on its large LED screen at the front of the City Hall grounds.

This initiative aligns with Section 21 of Republic Act 11055, also known as the Philippine Identification System Act, which mandates a nationwide information campaign to promote the National ID among Filipino citizens and resident aliens. This PhilSys aims to provide a unified and valid proof of identity, simplifying both public and private transactions while enhancing overall service delivery.

Through this AVP broadcast, the Philippine Statistics Authority seeks to educate and raise awareness about the benefits of National ID registration.
