In response to the directive from DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian to register to PhilSys all 4Ps beneficiaries and their families, a coordination meeting was held on February 6, 2024, at 10:00 am. PhilSys Focal Person Melody P. Tabigne and ISA I Ariel C. Rebalbusa attended the meeting along with DSWD’s 4Ps Provincial Link Cleofe Solamillo and associates Marlon Deguia, Odette O. Senining, and Aly-Khan Abdulkahil.
During the meeting, it was agreed that the 4Ps Municipal Links will coordinate with the LGU to determine the venue for registration. Beneficiaries will then visit the designated venue, where PhilSys will provide services including Step 2 Registration, ePhilID issuance, TRN retrieval, and authentication. This initiative, directed by Secretary Rex Gatchalian, aims to gather all DSWD program beneficiaries, especially 4Ps grantees and their children, for registration with PhilSys. DSWD highlighted that the PhilSys ID would benefit both the agency and its clients, facilitating faster eligibility checks and digital payments, thereby enhancing access to social assistance for beneficiaries.
