18 November 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) IX promoted the National ID Authentication Services to the Local Government of Zamboanga City as part of its commitment to enhancing service delivery and digital transformation.

This initiative highlights the benefits of the National ID Authentication System, emphasizing its role in facilitating secure and efficient identity verification. The service aims to assist local government units (LGUs) in streamlining public transactions and improving service accessibility for citizens.

By adopting the National ID Authentication Services, the LGU can ensure accurate beneficiary targeting, reduce instances of fraud, and enhance transparency in service delivery. This collaboration underscores the National ID's potential to transform governance and simplify interactions between citizens and public institutions.

The PSA also encourages the LGU to incorporate these services into various processes to demonstrate the National ID's ease of use and reliability for both citizens and government officials.
