07 September 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Regional Statistical Services Office continues to collaborate with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through the Processing Center for Displaced Person (PCDP).

The ongoing partnership between PSA IX and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Processing Center for Displaced Person (PCDP), focuses on registering Filipinos who have been deported back to the Philippines. This initiative provides deportees with proper identification, which serves as proof of identity and is essential for conducting future government or private transactions.

A total of 558 deportees have been registered to the National ID and are currently awaiting the availability of their printed National ID in paper form. This ensures they will soon have official identification for use in future transactions.

The National ID Registration Team is diligently conducting registration in partnership with various agencies and institutions across the province. Their commitment to maintaining the highest professionalism and efficiency ensures that the registration process remains accessible to all citizens, regardless of age. This collaborative approach aims to enhance the overall experience and effectiveness of the National ID registration and initiative.
