26 July 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Regional Statistical Services Office IX continues strengthening its efforts to make National ID registration accessible to the public through fixed registration centers across the province, including the PSA fixed registration center, Mall-based, institutional, and LGU-based centers.
The National ID Registration on Wheels initiative has been active throughout the province to facilitate easy access to National ID registration and issuance of ePhilID. This program aims to make the process more convenient for residents by bringing registration services directly to their communities. This initiative also focuses on registering children ages 1 to 4 years old, catering to parents and guardians who may not have the time to visit registration centers. Providing mobile registration services, ensures that even the youngest members of the community are included, making it easier for families to complete the registration process without the need to travel to centralized locations.
The PhilSys Registration Team is currently conducting registration and issuing ePhilID in different barangays in Zamboanga City. The team is committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy in all aspects of its operations.
