Dipolog City - The Provincial Statistical Office of Zamboanga del Norte joined the nation in commemorating the 128th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on December 30, 2024. Held at 7:30 am at the Orchid Pavilion, Plaza Magsaysay, the event was highlighted by a wreath-laying ceremony led by OIC Statistical Specialist II Andres S. Tapales Jr., alongside other government and private sector representatives. With the theme, "Rizal sa Bagong Pilipinas: Buhay at Aral, Aming Nilalandas," the observance reflected on Rizal's enduring contributions to national identity and progress.
 

Spearheaded by the City Government of Dipolog, the program featured a short ceremony with Atty. Jan Louenn L. Lumanta as the guest speaker. PSO employees were joined by representatives from national government agencies, non-governmental organizations, private institutions, barangay councils, uniformed personnel, civic groups, and community members. The PSO Zamboanga del Norte remains committed to honoring Dr. Rizal's legacy and values through active participation in this annual national celebration.
