The Philippine Statistics Authority-Provincial Office in Zamboanga Sibugay Province inaugurated its office after undergoing renovation and extension.  

The construction started during the early part of  2017. The Department of Public Works and Highways funded the construction of the Training and Conference room, while the renovation of the entire building by the PSA Fund.

Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office,  headed by its Provincial Statistics Officer, Atty. Richard D. Tabigne along  with his staff led the inauguration rite of the first ever PSA  owned office in Region IX.

Regional Director  Mewchun WS. Pamaran was the guest of honor during the event and the blessings of the office was officiated  by Rev. Arnel A. Palado of Ipil Parish.

The occasion was also graced by other PSA  IX Officials and Employees, including the Provincial Officers  of the two (2) provinces namely: Ma. Lila D. Daan of Zamboanga del Norte and Engr. Bernardo C. Martinez of Zamboanga del Sur. In attendance also were selected personnel of the region and provinces who were participants of the 2018 PSA Regional Planning Workshop last December 14-16, 2017, hosted by the PSA Zamboanga Sibugay.
