The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) IX was presented the Outstanding Partner for the Report in Regional Economic Developments Award by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) during the 2019 Awarding Ceremony and Appreciation Lunch for Stakeholders on 24 September 2019 at the Garden Orchid Hotel in Zamboanga City.

The event hosted by BSP is an annual activity where individuals, businesses and organizations are recognized for the support given to the BSP in achieving its mandate. There are several awards given every year which includes the “Outstanding Partner for the Report on Regional Economic Developments” that was awarded to PSA. This year’s theme “One Team, One Goal” highlights the importance of all agencies, companies, schools, individuals in the achievement of inclusive economic growth in the country. This year marks the fourth consecutive year that PSA received the award. It is worth mentioning that the office last year was the recipient of the Gold Hall of Fame Award. This Hall of Fame Award is given if we received same category award for three consecutive years. RD Mewchun WS. Pamaran expressed her gratitude to all PSA staff in Region IX including the provincial offices for their contribution in ensuring responsive quality service at all times.

The receipt of this fourth award is a manifestation of the commitment to the PSA’s vision and mission and will serve as motivation to continuously strive for excellence in the production of quality statistics to the clients and stakeholders.
