The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX successfully conducted the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Provincial and Highly Urbanized City Level Training for the 3rd Batch of Step 2 Registration Personnel last 20-22 July 2022 at PSA RSSO IX, 4th Floor, Function Hall, Dagdag Bldg., San Jose Road, Baliwasan, Zamboanga City. The activity was held to reinforce the number of registration personnel in the barangays as well as to speed up the operations related to PhilSys Step 2 Registration.

Conrad E. Sontillano, OIC-Chief of the Civil Registration and Administrative Support Division (CRASD) was among those in attendance and during his message encouraged the participants to give their utmost attention and diligence to the training.

The Three-day training was attended by twenty two (22) personnel that included Registration Kit Operators, Screeners, and Alternate Screeners.

To date, PSA RSSO IX continues to conduct PhilSys mobile registration in selected barangays as well as Institutional Registrations in both Government and Private Offices. The PSA aims to set up more mobile registration centers in other strategically located barangays that were not covered earlier.
