The Palay Production Survey (PPS) and Corn Production Survey (CPS) are major agricultural surveys conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). The survey generates data on palay production, corn production, area, and yield, which are used for policy making and programs on palay and corn. The data is directly used to calculate the Value of Production in Philippine Agriculture and Fisheries and to the computation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), accordingly.

The PPS and CPS provides production data for the value of production in Philippine Agriculture and Fisheries, aiding in GDP preparation. It also aids planners, policymakers, and stakeholders in the agriculture sector, particularly the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Agriculture (DA) and its attached agencies such as Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), Philippine Council for Agriculture, and Fisheries (PCAF), and the general public. The PPS and CPS are done every quarter.

in line with this, the PSA IX enjoins sampled households to participate in the 2024 PPS and 2024 CPS by providing truthful information.

The 2nd Level Training on 2024 PPS, CPS and MPCSRS was concluded by the closing message of OIC SOCD Chief Ma. Flerida E. Tan.
