23 – 27 September 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office IX (PSA-RSSO IX) conducted the Second Level Training on October 2024 Consumer Expectations Survey (CES) at Terra Cotta Hotel, Tumaga, this City.

Ms. Lanibel A. Pamatong served as the resource person during the 2-day training on October 2024 Consumer Expectations Survey (CES). The Provincial Focal Persons of the Survey also attended the training; Mr.  Milven J. Sumalpong, Statistical Analyst of PSO-Zamboanga del Sur, Ms. Lanibel A. Pamatong, Registration Officer I of PSO-Zamboanga del Norte, Ms. Rabia A. Nami, Statistical Specialist II of PSA-RSSO IX, and Ms. Aiza C. Gallegos, Administrative Aide VI of PSO-Zamboanga Sibugay.

The CES is a household-based survey that assesses consumer income, financial situation, and country economic condition, with a sample of approximately 5,000 households, administered through stratified multi-stage random sampling. The major data items to be collected from this undertaking are as follows; Demographic and economic characteristics, Economic and financial outlook, Key economic indicators, Buying conditions, Savings outlook, Debt situation and Account Ownership and Digital Payments.

In line with this, the PSA enjoins the public to support the October 2024 CES by providing the required and truthful information to authorized PSA interviewers who will visit the households to conduct personal interview.
