The Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) IX conducted its 3rd Regular Meeting for CY 2018 at the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) IX Function Hall last August 17, 2018. The meeting was presided by Ms. Phlorita A. Ridao, RSC IX Chairperson and Regional Director of National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) IX.

Topics such as the 29th National Statistics Month, latest Tourism and Health Statistics were presented. In addition, several resolutions were also passed and approved during the meeting.
The Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) acts as the policy making body on statistical matters at the local level. The PSA Board through Board Resolution No. 5 Series of 2015 established the RSCs to: (1) provide direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities; and, (2) serve as a venue for discussion and resolution of statistical issues at the local level.
