24-25 April 2024 – ZAMBOANGA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office (PSA-RSSO) IX conducted the 2024 PSA Awards and Infographics Training headed by Regional Director Mewchun WS. Pamaran, together with the PSA-RSSO IX and Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) official and employees. Also present during the training were Officer-In-Charge CRASD Chief Conrad E. Sontillano, Officer-In-Charge SOCD Chief Ma. Flerida E. Tan and Chief Statistical Specialist-PSO Zamboanga del Norte Ma. Lila D. Daan. 
RD Pamaran shared her opening message reiterating the purpose of the training and its benefits to the organization. RD Pamaran emphasized that the awards ranking reflects the performance of the agency. RD Pamaran also thanked the OIC’s, PSO Lila and the trainers for the effort and initiative given to make the 2-day training possible.

During the first day, the training focused on the PSA Awards, the objectives of the training are aimed at equipping, identifying concerns and informing the focal persons with the latest guidelines in determining the prerequisite requirements and points garnered on the online submission of their respective reports in Statistical Operations, Administrative Support Division, Civil Registration and Vital Statistics, and Philippine Identification System.

For the second day, the resource persons during the Infographics Training were Administrative Officer IV Yehrida S. Gulam and Administrative Clerk Kryslie Kate R. Maguate. The training focuses on the visual data dissemination and technicalities in making effective infographics use in providing the target audiences with the statistical results in an interactive, visual appealing and easy to apprehend statistical data.
