PSA IX conducted the Third Level Training on 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) Household and Barangay Interview

14 - 22 August 2023 - The 3rd Level Training ion 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) for households and barangay interviews conducted at Terra Cotta Hotel, Tumaga, Zamboanga City, Present during the training were Mr. Conrad E. Bagsican, Statistical Analyst, Mr. Robert D. Caranzo, Statistical Analyst, Ms. Roselyn R. Manalo, Assistant Statistician, Ms. Michelle Grace C. Natividad, Information Officer I, Mr. Revin V. Mr. Conrad E. Sontillano, OIC-CRASD Chief, formally opened the training and welcomed the attendees through his opening speech. The seven days training was divided into three classes to accomodate all participants and for effective lecture to occur. The PSA-RSSO IX officials, staff hired Census Area Supervisors (CAS) and Assistant Census Area Supervisors (ACAS) who attended the second level training served as the resource persons and moderators during the third level training.

The 2022 CAF is the listing activity and households interview that will cover all households in sample barangays, using a limited range of structural item and frame data items for national and local level policy making, agricultural and fishery census sampling frame development, research, data analysis and international data comparisons. The data from the census will serve as bases in creating policies, plans and programs for the country's socio-economic development.

04 September 2023 will be the start of the census nationwide, and in support to the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) Proclamation No. 272 declaring September 2023 as the National Agriculte and Fisheries and Census Month.
