The Philippine Statistics Authority – Zamboanga Sibugay conducted a one-day Batch Request Entry Query System (BREQS) and Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Mobile Registration activity through the One-Stop-Shop Services during the celebration of the 122nd Labor Day organized by the Department of Labor and Employment – Zamboanga Sibugay Field Office (DOLE-ZSFO) on 01 May 2024 at Provincial Capitol Atrium, Ipil Heights, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Information Officer I Joric L. Jimenez led the conduct of the mobile registration together with the Birth Registration Assistants, PhilSys personnel, and OJTs. Some of the services offered during the mobile registration activity were the PhilSys Step 2 registration, Transaction Reference Number (TRN) retrieval, and processing of copies of civil registry documents like Birth, Marriage, Death, Certificate of Marriage (CEMAR), and Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR).
Technical assistance was also extended to applicants regarding their queries on civil registry matters such as consultation on the process of clerical or typographical errors and other erroneous entries of civil registry documents, particularly in certificate of live birth. Concerns about the delayed delivery of PhilID cards and incorrect demographic entries of the registered individuals were also addressed.
The One-Stop-Shop services are one of the highlights of the 122nd Labor Day celebration for the promotion and provision of a “Whole-of-Nation” approach through the convergence of programs and services offered by line agencies. This segment also aims to provide the Filipino workforce with an avenue for ease-of-doing business with national agencies.
Additionally, the PSA’s presence at the event provided an opportunity for the attendees to register for the PhilSys ID and acquire civil registry documents which is essential for employment, banking, and other transactions.
This participation not only highlighted PSA's commitment to providing quality statistics, efficient civil registration services, and an inclusive identification system but also underscored the agency's recognition of the significance of the labor force in driving the nation's progress.
