The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will be conducting the 2025 Regional Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Convention and Data Festival with the theme “Ready, Stat, Go! Building Agile, Resilient, and Future-Ready Filipino Communities through Data-Driven Systems” to be held on 22 – 23 September 2025 at Farmer’s Haven, Provincial Government Center, Dao, Pagadian City.

The Regional CBMS Convention and Data Festival aims to bring together key stakeholders, including students, professionals, and policymakers, to discuss and explore the significance of data in fostering sustainable development and community progress. The event will feature various activities, including presentations on data-driven development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), exhibit booths, as well as interactive games such as [Name of Game/s] and contests like [Name of Contest/s].

This will be conducted in connection with the PSA’s commitment to produce high quality statistics and promote a responsive and relevant statistical system capable of providing and communicating timely, accurate, and useful data to both the government and the public.

Specifically, the convention and data festival will:
1.    Explore the CBMS as an effective development tool that provides valuable data for research and community improvement.
2.    Enhance statistical literacy among students and foster a deeper appreciation for official statistics, empowering them to make data-driven decisions; and
3.    Introduce the SDGs and emphasize their vital role in promoting sustainable development at the local level.
