The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office IX in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Zamboanga City officially opened the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Registration Center at Barangay Cabaluay last 26 October 2022.

Shehana S. Ladjabangsa, Information System Analyst I of PhilSys from PSA RSSO IX was among those in attendance and in her message, she acknowledged the support of the Barangay Council and for the warm welcome given to the PSA. This year, the PSA aims to set up more registration centers in other barangays that were not covered in Step 1.
